We were introduced to Nancy Njeri in July 2015. She made an appearance on our blog in September as we recounted her academic achievements in the setting of stark poverty. Nancy graduated from high school in December 2015 and scored well on her final exams.

She began her collegiate endeavors at Kijabe Health Sciences College in September 2016. She is pursuing a degree as a clinical medical officer.

As a clinical officer Nancy can practice as an independent clinician after three years of study or she will also have an opportunity to continue her education and earn a degree as a physician.

Her tuition is funded in part by donations from the amazing staff of Holly Park Medical Clinic in Seattle.
